We are thrilled to announce that 11 OTE graduates from last year's 8th grade team made their high school basketball team. 6 earned a spot on their Freshman team, 3 were placed on their JV team and 2 made Varsity! Congratulations, Girls!

Tryouts for the Fall/Winter session for girls and boys teams will be held the weekends of Sept 22nd/23rd and Oct 6th/7th. More information can be found here.

Tom Morgan, the director of the Grayslake tournament which was held on March 9-11, 2007 has awarded the Over The Edge organization their Sportsmanship Award. The award is normally given to a single team, but it was awarded to the entire OTE organization because all of the teams exemplified excellent sportsmanship. The letter of recognition can be accessed here (pdf file).

As OTE's mission statement states: OTE believes the best players are those who not only excel individually but who make each of their teammates a better player. They are student-athletes who are respectful of their parents, coaches, opponents and teammates. Congratulations to all of our players for earning this distinguished award!

OTE is pleased to announce that 16 of its original members have made their respective high school basketball teams. Of the 16 Freshman, 2 made their Varsity team, 3 made their Sophomore teams and 11 made their Freshman teams!
